Cincinnati Bearcats 47 Connecticut Huskies 45

The Cincinnati Bearcats withstood an inspired comeback by the Connecticut Huskies to win 47-45 Saturday night on national TV. The Huskies scored 21 4th quarter points but came up 2points short when they went for the 2 point conversion but were sacked.

Quaterback1A Zach Collaros had a career night ,tossing the pigskin for 480 yards and 2Td's  while rushing for almost a hundred and another 2 scores.

This victory leaves the Bearcats at 9-0 overall and 5-0 in the Big East.

The schedule doesn't get any easier with the Bearcats set to play the West Virginia Mountaineers next , after that the Bearcats take on the always tough Big Ten Conference foe Illinois. Lastly the Cincinnati Bearcats are scheduled to tussle with the Pittsburgh Panthers who are currently ranked 13th in the most recent polls.

They have their work cut out for them. It's going to be an interesting week , because the Cincinnati Bearcats look like they are going to have a Quarterback controversy. Pike or Collaros , good problem to have .

What are your thoughts ?

Pike Out

It looks like Tony Pike is going to be listed as doubtful for the game against the Connecticut Huskies this Saturday evening. It looks like a revenge match for the Cincinnati Bearcats who got dusted by the Huskies in last years game. Good luck Bearcats !http://www.cbssports.com/collegefoo

Cincinnati Bearcats # 5 in BCS

Here we go again. The Cincinnati Bearcats are back at #5 in the illustrius all knowing BCS rankings. We've got the passionate yet underachieving Connecticut Huskies this Saturday Night. Yes folks the very same UConn team that destroyed our Bearcats in the 2nd half of their game last year. Destroyed !

Let's hope this years' version of The Cincinnati Bearcats doesn't have the kind of memory that forgets without remembering.

After UConn , wait let's not talk about the upcoming schedule until after the game. Go Bearcats !
